- Spent two years working for the Northern Pacific Railroad as a machinist apprentice before pursing architecture.
- Lieutenant Colonel Bell was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal as the acknowledged expert on quality of life issues in the United States Air Force.
- Spent 19 years teaching and directing the architecture program at Andrews University before founding his design firm in 1995.

Since 1995 Stan has led his team in designing places for worship on more than 50 plus church related projects.
Stan received his education in architecture with a professional degree from Montana State University, a Masters of Science degree in Environic Studies from the University of Notre Dame, and a Doctor of Architecture degree from The University of Michigan.
As president of the firm, Stan’s underlying interest is to work closely with clients to bring together creativity solutions and the of multitude of requirements necessary for a successful ribbon cutting event that results in a new facility that becomes a great place for worship, work, or education.
